Health Scholarship at University of Suffolk 2025

Scholarship Benefits
The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship provides the following benefits:
Award Value: Each scholarship is worth £4,000 per year of study.
Number of Awards: The University of Suffolk will give 50 scholarships for the 2025 academic year, divided between the September 2025 and January 2026 intakes.
Tuition decrease: Scholarships will be awarded as a decrease in tuition fees upon enrollment at the university. This would enable overseas students drastically lower their financial burden while studying.
Duration:Scholarship awardees will receive the award for each year of full-time study, providing they continue with their original program of study.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship, applicants must complete the following requirements:

Must have earned a conditional or unconditional offer to one of the eligible undergraduate (360-credit) or postgraduate-taught (180-credit) health programs at the University of Suffolk’s Ipswich campus.
You must be an overseas student (designated as Overseas for fee purposes) and self-funded.
Must apply to begin studies in the 2025/6 academic year.
Must be enrolled full-time.
Undergraduate applicants must begin their studies in Year 1 (Level 4).
Must apply for the scholarship by the application deadline (details below).

BSc (Hons) Diagnostic radiography
BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing.

Application Process
The Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship is not awarded automatically. Following an admissions offer from the University of Suffolk, eligible applicants will be encouraged to submit a scholarship application. Scholarships will be awarded according to:
- Scores received at the academic interview for the applicant’s preferred programme.
- In cases where scores are tied, the scholarship will be given based on interview results and prior academic achievement.
Application Deadlines
- For September 2025 starters: Scholarship applications must be submitted by 25 April 2025.
- For January 2026 starters: Scholarship applications must be submitted by 12 September 2025.
